Great gaming moments

450m wheelie, right down the main drag of Vice City, transition to a 50m stoppie, followed immediately by another wheelie and a spectacular head on collision with a truck. All the while listening to Slayer’s Raining Blood. Does (gaming)life get any better than this?

Post match wrapup

1. I still can’t believe I’ve finished university.

2. It hasn’t sunk in yet. I’m feeling satisfaction at finishing my project, I’m happy with how it all looks, but there’s no real closure. And I’m not sure I’ll even feel any sort of closure, I think I might just go on and do other things, and one day look back and say “hey, I finished uni!”.

3. I’m looking forward to that.

4. My presentation went really well. I didn’t put much work into it, I was too busy playing Halo on PC the night before! I went to uni, I set up, I did a dry run, and then it was all on. Timed it perfectly, exactly 10 minutes long, and I missed nothing. I was so thorough none of the markers could even think of any questions to ask! I do surprise myself sometimes. I mean, I know I’m good at talking about myself, but who would’ve thought I was that good?

5. Now it’s all about the gradshow. Don’t have very long to organise it, gonna have to get it going very, very soon. And there’s also the MoS work that still needs to be done. I really hope there’s a job at the end of that, I really want to get out of where I am now, it’s driving me nuts. I need some structure in my day, I need to sleep a bit earlier than 4am, and wake a bit earlier than noon. Most of all, I need my weekends back! I miss friday night piss-ups, saturday morning sleep-ins, sunday morning breakfasts. Six years of working weekends is enough, I think. It’s time to move on.

Success!

Done! All done!

muhahaha!

Final Quarter

Only 31hrs, 18mins until I hand my major project in. In a little over a day I’ll be free of the shackles of university, and one step closer to… well, something, I hope.

Fervently hope.

But now I’m just sleepy, but I’ve been very good over the last two weeks, putting in the 14-16hr days to get this finished. Only a few things to do before it’s ready to go… can’t hardly wait*!

(rock! bad-end-of-school-teen-flick reference!)

(yeah, alright, that was pretty lame.)

Shortcuts: 7th Nov (a.k.a. Holden Half-time)

This week’s Holden sponsored half-time (’cause if we didn’t get a sponsor, there wouldn’t be a half time. The boys (or girls) will just keep playin’ until they fall over from exhaustion) is dedicated to the Hilton Sisters, Paris and Nikki, for their generosity and bubbly personality has charmed their way into the heart of the Nation. See for yourself:
